Virginia 'Ginny' Robinett

Virginia 'Ginny' (Weber) Robinett, age 77, of Wichita, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Golden Living in Wellington, Kansas. She was born March 16, 1939 in Ellis County, Kansas to Engelbert and Clara (Flax) Weber.

In 1957 she graduated from Ellis High School and soon moved to Wichita, Kansas where she met and married the love of her life, Charles 'Danny' Robinett. The were married in Miami, Oklahoma on May 7, 1960. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2011.

Ginny was a longtime employee of First National Bank and she retired from Boeing Aircraft on 2000. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wichita.

She is survived by a brother, George Weber and wife Charlotte of Wichita; sister-in-law, Dorothy Weber of WaKeeney; step brothers, Paul Flax of Hays, Alfred Flax and wife Ida of Wichita; step-sisters, Agnes Richmeier and husband Edwin of WaKeeney and Albertina Ferenbach of Ness City as well as several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry (Infant) and Leonard Weber; step-brother, Gilbert Flax and wife Serephine; step-sisters, Rosie Hicks and Minnie Flax and a brother-in-law, Frank Ferenbach.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ellis with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, 6 PM - 8 PM with a combined rosary and parish vigil service at 7 PM all at St. Mary's Church.
