Tylor John Schultz

Tylor John Schultz, aka T.J. or Too Tall, 33, lived in Jetmore, Ks. He was a 2008 graduate from William S. Hart High School in Newhall, CA.


On 10/20/2023, Tylor passed away in his home, due to a pulmonary embolism.


Tylor was born on April 26, 1990 at Fort Lewis, WA to Mark A. Schultz and Lorie D. Schultz. Tylor grew up as a military child, going here and there. After graduation, Tylor joined the Army and served 6 years. He did two deployments overseas. After Tylor was discharged, he went on to be a sheriff's deputy and a correctional officer. Tylor loved to spend time with his family and friends. Tylor had recently re-committed himself to the Lord and was going to be baptized Sunday, October 29, 2023. Tylor loved his country and community with a huge heart. He was the kind of guy to give the shirt off his back to those in need and he will be forever loved and missed.


Tylor was a part of the VFW, NRA and the Three Percenters. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Ks.


Tylor John Schultz was preceded in death by his Father, Mark A. Schultz, Grandmother Gloria Schultz, Grandfather John Schultz, Grandmother Loretta Johnson and Aunt Paula Henderson.


Tylor is survived by his mother, Lorie Westbrook of Idalou, Tx, his Stepmother, Wendy Price of Parker, Colorado and Grandfather, Donald Morlan of McClave, Colorado. His children, Tylor John Schultz Jr., of Pensacola, Florida, Emmalyn Rose Schultz and Eveleigh Michelle Schultz of Jetmore, Kansas and Jarrod Wade Kingan of Jetmore, Kansas.


Siblings are Amanda and Steven Seig of Temple, TX, Cannon and Kayla Schultz of Tacoma, WA, Chelsea and Shamus Smith of Scott City, KS, Thomas and Danielle Carney of Scott City, KS, Justin Schultz of Parker, CO, Matthew Schultz of Parker, cO and Bryten Westbrook of Idalou, TX.


A memorial service will be held at 10am, October 30, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas. Interment will be at 2:30pm with military honors at Kansas Veterans Cemetery at Fort Dodge, KS. 


Cremation services under the direction of Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2509 Vine Street Hays, KS 67601.
