Timothy Craig Haynes

Timothy Craig Haynes, age 57, of Hays, KS, passed away on April 18, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, KS. Born on October 25, 1966, in Salina, KS, Timothy was the son of Thomas J. Haynes and Karen J. Lacy.

Timothy dedicated himself to the oilfields, working as a roughneck for Southwind Oil Company and various other local oil companies. When he wasn't hard at work, he found joy in the great outdoors hunting and fishing.

Timothy's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He is survived by his father, Thomas J. Haynes of Hays; two sons, Elon Meyer of Westminster, CO, and Harley Haynes of Hays; two daughters, Talia Haynes of Tucson, AZ, and Jazmine Lohrmeyer of Hays; a brother, Terry Haynes of Hays; a sister, Marie Haynes of Overland Park, KS, as well as nine grandchildren, Tyler, Brooklyn, Razariah, Reviahna, Oliver, Ronan, Daunte, Aries, and Cyrilla. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen, and his stepmother, Lora Gallegos-Haynes. His beloved hunting companion Biff also survives him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on May 4, 2024, at Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory-Brock's Chapel, located at 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601.
