Timothy D. Trekell

Timothy Dale Trekell, age 49, of Hays, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Hays. He was born June 12, 1967 in Enid, Oklahoma to Terry Dale and Carolyn Kay (Acree) Trekell. He graduated from Enid High School. On September 27, 2003 he married Patricia Sue Smith.

He had worked as a John Deer Diesel Tech for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking and he was an animal lover.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Trekell of Hays; his mother and step father, Carolyn and Ron Williams; a daughter, Kimberly Stone of Enid, OK; a step daughter, Ami Black (Requise) of Springfield, TN; a brother, Bobby Trekell (Amy) of Enid, OK; a sister, Nikki Williams (Zon) of Enid, OKand three step grandchildren, Aryonah, Michael, and Dereous Black.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Dale Trekell.

Celebration of Life service will be at 2 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 with the family present from 1 PM until service time to greet friends all at Brocks-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine St. Hays.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
