Steven Wayne Werth

Steven Wayne Werth, age 48, of WaKeeney, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12th, 2012 at Trego Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney. He was born June 25, 1963 in Hays to Fred H. and Carol J. (Dechant) Werth.



He had worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed Fishing, NASCAR, Kansas City Chiefs and his pets.



He is survived by his mother, Carol of WaKeeney; a brother, Gary Werth and wife Patricia of Salina; two sisters, Jodie Fisher and husband Ken of Council Grove and Jillaine Curry of Salina. A nephew, Landon Werth and four nieces, Shannon Guebara, Casey Bradbury, Tasha Rathbun and Madison Curry, also survive him.



His father preceded him in death in 1974.



Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Schoenchen. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.



Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. and Thursday 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. all at Brock's North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS. 67601.



A parish wake service will be Wednesday at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home.



Memorials are suggested to be used according to the wishes of the family or masses.
