Obituary



Sheryl M. Fuss, 75, of Hays, KS, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society-Hays, KS. Sheryl was born the daughter of Bert and Dorothy (Reynolds) Gaines on January 12, 1943 in Atlantic, IA.

Sheryl was very adventurous. She enjoyed fishing, casinos and most of all, her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Charles Fuss of Hays; two daughters, Carrie Haddock of Hays, Ruthie Thesenga and her husband Mike of Old Orchard Beach, ME; two brothers, Pete Gaines and his wife Jan of Council Bluffs, IA, Rollin Gaines and his wife Sue of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Pam Hudson and her husband John of Las Vegas, NV, Kim Quick of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren, Elizabeth & Chris Siggins of Atlantic, IA, Devon Nichols of Hays, Katelyn and Zoe Haddock of Hays.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Fuss and a brother, Delbert Gaines.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be arranged at a later date.
