Shane Gottschalk

Shane Paul Gottschalk, age 21, of Hays, passed away Monday, November 19th at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He was born February 25, 1991, in Hays, Kansas, to Gregg and Patricia (Wooster) Gottschalk.

Shane graduated from TMP-Marian in 2009 and was attending college at Fort Hays State University. He was a very active person working for Wagoner Construction, FHSU gym and the Hays Rec gym. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working out, and spending time with Macys family out at the farm.

He is survived by his parents; fianc, Macy Ziegler of Collyer; sister, Shayla Gottschalk of Hays and his grandparents, Dorothy and Cecil Gottschalk of Hays and Paul Wooster and wife Lynne of Great Bend.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Wooster.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow services in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday 6:30 P.M. 9:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Church with a parish vigil at 7:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions are suggested to TMP-Alumni Association, Fort Hays State University or the Hematology/Oncology department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in care of Dr. Bierman, 986780 U.N.M.C., Omaha, NE 68198-7680.
