Obituary



Sandra Jo Slaughter, age 53, of Ellis, Kansas passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home. She was born November 21, 1969 in Salina, Kansas to Stuart and Linda (Sutton) Base. She married Dean Allen Slaughter at the Ellis United Methodist Church in 2002.

Sandra was a farmer along with her husband Dean. Sandra enjoyed her role on the farm of taking care of the milk cows and other farm animals.

She is survived by her husband, Dean of the home; a son, Michael Slaughter of hays; a daughter, Jasmine Slaughter of Hoisington; a sister, Cari Hancock of Colwich and four grandchildren, Lane Slaughter, Audree Lemonds, Sean Lemonds and Luca Gordon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has been chosen and services will be held at a later date and announced by Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E 17th Ellis, KS 67637.
