Roland Rummel

Roland Albert Rummel, age 22, of Ellis passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 the result of an accident in Rural Ellis. He was born December 10, 1990 in WaKeeney, Kansas to Ronald F. Rummel and Bonita J. "Bonnie" (Matteson) Rummel.

He was a concrete construction worker and a musician. He enjoyed music and songwriting and being Dad to his twin daughters.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Rummel of Ellis; his father, Ronald F. Rummel of Durham, KS; his fianc, Kelsey Clark of Ellis; twin daughters, Maddison and Faythe Rummel of Ellis; and a brother, Ronald Rummel II of Durham, Kansas.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, October 11th at St. Marys Catholic Church in Ellis. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

A closed casket visitation with the family present will be Thursday 5 PM 7 PM at Keithley Funeral Chapel ~ 400 E. 17th ~ Ellis.
