Obituary
Robin Burton, age 63, of Lacrosse, KS went to her spirit world on December 30, 2020. She was born April3, 1957 to "Jiggs" Donald LeRoy Gay and "Granny" Edna Gene (Hancock) Ardire in Danville, Illinois. In 1977 she married Mont Lee Burton and had two sons; Les Burton, Lacrosse, KS, and Chris Burton, Garden City, KS.
Robin worked as a CNA and physical therapist assistant for many years at the Jetmore hospital until she became disabled. Robin loved all animals, she loved to color beautiful pictures and go shopping at thrift stores. She loved to scratch lottery tickets and drink iced Pepsi. Robin was very dedicated to her family and friends, she loved and cared for all strays, whether they had two legs or four.
She is survived by her three sons; Shawn Burton of Las Vegas, NV; Les and Chris (Melanie); granddaughter Megan and grandson Brandon Burton of Colorado; her mother, Edna Gene Ardire; granddaughter Kylie (Josh) Postlewait NV; grandson Caleb, Garden City, KS; two great grandchildren, and one on the way; two brothers Donnie Jr. Gay and wife, Charles Towle of Indiana, three sisters, Kathy, Julie and Tammy, all of Indiana; three sister in laws Donna Brazda, Kim Frank (Keith), Lacrosse, KS; and Betty Swartz (Lee), Great Bend; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, father, and sister Donna Gay.
There will be a family service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Robin would want all donations to go your local Humane Society.
