Obituary



Robert Paul Koch Jr. age 72, of Ogallah, Kansas died Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

He was born November 21, 1948, in Flint, Michigan to Robert Paul and Geraldine (Tarrant) Koch Sr. He married Lampueng (Miruntia) on August 27, 1973, in Thailand.

He was a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant.

Survivors include his wife, Lampueng Koch, of the home; his children, Lucy Koch; Julia Kirby and husband, Sean; his mother, Geraldine Koch; one brother, Brad Koch; three sisters, Cindy Tucker and husband, Rusty; Julie Morrow and husband, David; Valerie Weide and husband, Steve; three grandchildren, Mariah, Shiloh and Thai.

He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Bobby Koch; and one sister-in-law, Patti Koch.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions the family will schedule a Celebration of Life memorial service and inurnment at a later date.

Services are entrusted to Clines-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
