Obituary



Ralph Andre` Jensen, age 89, of WaKeeney, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Trego County Lemke Memorial Long Term Care. He was born in Ellsworth, Kansas, on June 6, 1928 to Andrew and Vera (Gatewood) Jensen.

Ralph was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. On November 12, 1960 he was united in marriage to Patsy Ann (Manis) Jensen in Sylvan Grove, Kansas. Together they shared 57 wonderful years. She preceded him in death on June 17, 2017.

Ralph graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946 and Washburn University in 1950 with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Ralph served in the United States Army as a member of the Army Audit Agency. Ralph enjoyed a long and very happy life with a wide variety of business endeavors.

Ralph is survived by two daughters, Debra R. Maska and husband John R. Maska of Hays, KS, Dana M. Hille and husband Dana R. Hille of WaKeeney, KS; a son, Richard A. Jensen and wife Gail A. Jensen of WaKeeney, KS; six grandchildren, Jenifer Riat and husband Steve Riat of Hays, KS, Jamie Maska of Springfield, MO, Joshua Maska and wife Lauren Maska of Wichita, KS, Suzanne Cadoret and husband William Cadoret of Hays, KS, Brandon Hille and wife Ashley Hille of Kansas City, KS, and Brett Hille and wife Sarah Hille of WaKeeney, KS; 12 great-grandchildren, Morgan Maska, Allyson Bowers, Caden and Carsen Riat, Easton and Kennady Maska, Will, Max and Abe Cadoret, Wyatt Hille and Madigan and Elias Hille; a brother, Jerry Jensen as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger A. Jensen and a brother, Jack Jensen.

A Private Family Service will be held with inurnment at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in WaKeeney, KS.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of WaKeeney

or Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital.
