Dighton, Kansas - Peggy L. Rankin-Baker, age 69, died Sunday, June 18, 2016, at Via Christi Village Care Center Hays, Kansas. She was born May 23, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio to William Lee and Minnie Pauline (Rigsby) Smith.
She was a homemaker and a caregiver. Peggy worked as a traveling CNA, a sales clerk, and a janitorial worker. With her farther being in the military she grew up in Tennessee, California, Oregon, Kansas, Hawaii and Germany. She was a member of the Baptist Church, the Tri Sate Coalition of Concerned Motorcyclist and has lived in Dighton since 1977. She enjoyed caring for others, crocheting, fishing, motor cycles traveling, her family and friends.
Survivors include, one son, William L. Boleraczky, Great Bend, KS; two daughters, Anna Marie Boleraczky and her companion, Ronald, Gilkeson, Dighton, KS; Suzanna Christine Spurlin, Great Bends, KS; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Steven Boleraczky; one sister, Judy K. Rubin; one nephew, Donald Gene Burdett; and one niece, Lori Ann Burgett.
A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
