Patricia Anschutz

 Patricia “Patty” (Schrant) Anschutz – age 57, of Walker, Kansas passed away on April 2, 2024, at Hays Medical Center.  She was born September 2, 1966, in Hays, Kansas to Paul S. and Alice M.(Rupp) Schrant.

Patty worked at Pizza Hut, Hadley Hospital, and was an evening bartender at the Club Three for a number of years.  Patty also worked at Dillons, Enersys, and Casey’s.  She grew up on the family farm south of Walker, was a 1985 graduate of Victoria High School, a graduate of Hays Academy of Hair Design, and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. 

Patty is survived by her daughters, Brandi Brooks, Hays, KS; Chelsey Scott and husband, Charles, Colorado Springs, CO; her mother, Alice M. Schrant, Walker, KS; her sisters, Marilyn Joy and husband, George, Hays, KS; Lucy Conness and husband, David; WaKeeney, KS; Marjorie Straub and husband, Ricky, Walker, KS; Pam Irwin and husband, Darren, Bennington, KS; her grandchildren, Peyton Brooks; Kaci Brooks; Halie Brooks; Dylan Brooks; Keelyn Scott; Aviana Scott; Preston Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Paul S. Schrant; her brother, William R. “Bill” Schrant; her grandparents, William and Margaret (Heffner) Schrant; Richard and Isabelle (Geist) Rupp.      

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Walker, Kansas with Celebrant, Father James Moster O.F.M. Cap. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Walker, Kansas.

A vigil service with a St. Ann Christian Mothers and St. Fidelis Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6:30 P.M. Friday, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary, Victoria, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary Victoria, Kansas and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Saturday, at St. Ann Catholic Church Walker, Kansas.
