Patricia Anne Pierce, daughter of Henry F. (III) and Edith L (Campbell) Pierce was born on April 2, 1946, in Kansas City, MO. Her death occurred Sept. 19, 2022, at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, Gardner at the age of 76. Patricia lived her early life in Hays, KS. On Nov. 18, 1964, she was united in marriage to Henry Mason Sellers at Hays. This union was blessed with three children: Margaret, Christine and Katherine. Patricia occupied her life with the many activities of a homemaker, housewife, mother and grandmother. She made a family home in several communities in Kansas while traveling with her family until 1987 when Henry and Patricia moved to Manhattan, KS, until 2002 when Patricia moved to Russell, KS and then 2019 when she moved to Gardner, KS to live out her life.

She enjoyed playing the piano for her children and grandchildren and having holidays with family. She also enjoyed researching family genealogy and creating a variety of food dishes. She played the piano for musical productions in Singapore and Manhattan, KS. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Those who preceded her in death were parents, Henry F. (III) and (Edith) Lorraine Pierce and two great-granddaughters, Meredith and Macy. Survivors are Henry Sellers of Russell, KS, daughters: Margaret Sellers of Kansas City, MO, Christine Sellers and Katherine Sellers of Russell, KS. Also surviving are her granddaughters: Angela (Miller) Meyer and husband, Patrick of Adrian, MO, Jamie Crawford of St. John, KS, Randi Steinle of Yukon, OK, and Chandler (Reich) Sellens and husband, Jacob Sellens of Russell, KS, Great-grandchildren: Edwin, Porter, Veda, Reese and Adler. Brother, Henry F. Pierce (IIII) and wife Mary Lynn of Ohio, sister Mary Beth Sayre, and husband Larry of Texas, and a number of other relatives.

On Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. family and friends will gather at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel located at 2509 Vine Street, Hays, Kansas 67601 for a celebration of Patricia's life. Patricia will be buried at Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays, Kansas.
