Mary E. Kreutzer

Mary E. (Weigel) Kreutzer, age 87, of Ellis passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at Redbud Village in Plainville. She was born February 2, 1927 in Ellis, Kansas to John and Elizabeth (Storm) Weigel. She married Louis F. Kreutzer August 10, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2004

She was a homemaker and worked at Jade Cleaners, Millers IGA, Richs IGA and Travenol. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Ellis and a lifetime member of the Daughters of Isabella of Ellis.

She is survived by a son, Ron Kreutzer of Olathe, Kansas; three daughters, Albertha Stegman and husband Joe of Gladewater, TX, Mary Lou McDonald and Denis Vine of Ellis and Linda Deutscher and husband Stan of Plainville; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Val, Frank, Ray, Fr. Ed, Albert and Rich Weigel.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday 6 PM 8 PM and Tuesday 9 AM 9:30 AM all at Keithley Funeral Chapel ~ 400 E. 17th ~ Ellis, KS. 67637.

A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be Monday at 6:30 PM followed by a parish vigil service at 7 PM all at the funeral home.
