Mary Ann Disney

Mary Ann Disney died at the Ellis Good Samaritan Center on February 13, 2014. She was born March 16, 1923, in Plainville, Kansas, to Alma and Edward Plomondon.



Mary Ann moved to Ellis, KS, at the age of 13 and remained a lifelong resident. She served in the United State Navy as a nurse and returned to Ellis after WWII.

She married Richard Murray Disney on February 19, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1996. Her first daughter, Robin, was born in 1952 and died February 17, 1960. Her second daughter, Kristine Disney, resides in Wheat Ridge, CO.



Mary Ann was devoted to her community and participated in many civic organizations. She was generous and loved to visit with friends every day for coffee.



She is survived by her brothers Robert Plomondon, Donald Plomondon, and James Plomondon of Denver, CO, and a sister, Rita Schlotterback, of Bellingham, Washington.
