Martha Smith

Martha Smith, age 76, of Hays passed away January 31, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society, Hays. She was born July 16, 1938 in Clayton, New Mexico to Frank and Martha Ann (Hain) Konda. She married Earl North in June of 1956. He preceded her in death in September of 1982. Martha was a seamstress and did auto upholstery work. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Stadalman and husband Zachary of Hays and two sisters, Alvera Chvilick of Marienthal, KS and Roberta Konda of Wichita, KS. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private family inurnment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery near the Windhorst Township, rural Spearville, KS.
