Marjie Lecuyer

Marjie Pauline (Shepherd) Lecuyer, age 80, of Hays, Kansas passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Denver, Colorado. She was born May 6, 1934 in Phippsburg, Colorado to Frank Gault Shepherd and Anna (Kowach) Shepherd. She married H. Edward Lecuyer on July 20, 1957 at the Congregational Church in Craig, Colorado. Edward preceded her in death October 14, 2012.



Marjie enjoyed traveling with her husband Edward. Their favorite locations included the Colorado mountains, Hawaii and the Texas beaches. She was a Denver Broncos fan, avid golfer and enjoyed gardening, wildlife and a variety of literature. Marjie was joyful with a great enthusiasm for life.



She is survived by a sister, Anna Lee (Shepherd) Harris and a brother, Frank Glenn Shepherd.



Her parents and a sister, Nina Barbara (Shepherd) Herring preceded her in death.



Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 16, 2014 at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E 17th Ellis, KS. 67637. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
