Obituary



Lucille M. Kuhn age 87, of Victoria, Kansas died Sunday, October 4, 2020, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. She was born December 30, 1932, in Plainville, Kansas to Adam R. and Mary F. (McMullen) Stahl. She married Alfred L. "Al" Kuhn on June 16, 1955, at Plainville, Kansas. He preceded her in death on February 22, 2018.

She was a homemaker and a farmers wife on their farm North of Victoria. She cared for her four grandchildren before they entered school. She was a member of The Basilica of St. Fidelis. Lucille grew up in Plainville and was a graduate of Plainville High School.

Survivors include two sons, Leon Kuhn and wife, Colleen, Victoria, KS; Norbert Kuhn, of the home; two daughters, Donna Kuhn, of the home, Diane Unrein and husband, Curtis, Victoria, KS; four grandchildren, Dylan Kuhn and Heather; Nathan Kuhn; Kelton Unrein and Marissa; Logan Unrein and Lacey Nuss; one great grandchild, Maverick Kuhn; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Joe Stahl and Alfred Stahl.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria, Kansas. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas.

A vigil service and rosary will be at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, all at the church.

The family suggests memorials to The Basilica of St. Fidelis or the Good Samaritan Society of Hays.
