Louise Koerner

Louise Koerner, age 89, of Hays, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Via Christi Village, Hays. She was born April 10, 1923 in Catharine, KS to Jacob and Angela (Karlin) Staab. She married Ralph Koerner on Feb. 23, 1943 in Catharine, KS. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2012.

She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Koerner and wife Jody of Topeka, KS and David Koerner and wife Judy of Lees Summit, MO; a daughter, Ann Koerner and husband Rich Camp of Plymouth, MN; two sisters, Mary Alice Kundred and husband John and Cecilia Staab all of Hays. 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Thomas and Herbert Koerner, five brothers, Herbert, Raymond, James, Leo and Frank Staab; and four sisters, Alice Staab, Alexius Staab, Clara Staab Rohr and Angela Koerner.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday 5:30 PM 8 PM and Thursday 9 AM 9:30 AM at Brocks North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS. 67601.

There will be a rosary service Wednesday at 6:30 PM followed by a parish vigil at 7 PM all at the funeral home.
