Linda Shields

Linda L Shields age 68 of Great Bend, Kansas passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas.

She was born August 29, 1956, in Scott City, Kansas to Conard D. Armantrout and Karen (Nolder)-Mercer. She married Robert E. Shields. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2002.

Linda grew up in Scott City, and attended the Pauls Valley State School in Pauls Valley, OK. She lived in Hays for a number of years then moved to the Rosewood Services Assisted Living, Great Bend in 2003.

Linda is survived by her brothers, Conrad Armantrout, Pink, OK; Conard Armantrout, Hanston, KS; her step-brothers, Robin Skinner and Teddy Armantrout; her sisters, Robin Belvin; Connie LaVato; Syndeity Dutton; and Quina Armantrout, Noble, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant brother.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the LaCrosse City Cemetery, LaCrosse, Kansas with Reverend, Cana Moore officiating.

Family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Saturday, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
