Lillian Nowak

Lillian Nowak – age 94, former Gorham, Kansas resident passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Dignity Care Center in Salina, Kansas.

 She was born on September 19, 1930, on the family farm north of Walker, Kansas to Anton P. and Rosa (Nemecheck) Sander. She married Louis “Vernon” Nowak on April 19, 1951, at Walker, he preceded her in death on June 24, 2010.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 27, 2025, at Saint Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church at Gorham with Celebrant, Father Michael Elan. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery Gorham.

 A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6:30 P.M. Sunday, followed by a vigil service at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays.

 Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Monday, at Saint Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church Gorham.
