Obituary



Lillian Locker, age 97, of Ellis, Kansas, died July 5, 2021, at Trego Lemke Memorial Hospital, Wakeeney, Kansas. She was born September 10, 1923, in Ellis county, Kansas to Frank and Mary (Koerner) Weber. She married Joe Locker Jr. May 7, 1946, at St. Marys Church in Ellis.

Lillian was an accomplished seamstress. She made many items including wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. She also did house and business cleaning.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Tom McMahon of South Jordan, Utah; Son-in-law Paul Luea of Ellis; brother-in-law Lawrence Locker of Ellis; four grandsons, Sean McMahon and wife Ashleigh, Jason Luea and wife Samantha, Jonas Luea and Joseph McMahon; eight great grandchildren; Laura Berry, Laurenne Fraser, Zayn McMahon, Abby Luea, Teag McMahon; Jacob Luea, Keyan McMahon and Jonathon Luea; niece Jessica Smith and four nephews, Larry, John, Steve, and Tom Locker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Pamela McMahon and Patricia Luea, and sister Amelia Weigel.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 10:30 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church in Ellis. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 9:30 AM with a rosary at 10:00 AM, all at the church.
