Larry Tomlin

Larry Lester Tomlin, age 78, of Ellis, Kansas passed away Feb. 1, 2025 at HaysMed. He was born December 19, 1946 in Pittsburg, California to Joseph and Naomi (Cockrell) Tomlin.

Larry grew up in California and in the early 1990's made his way to Ellis, Kansas where his mother, Naomi and husband Thomas lived. Larry was a gifted woodworker and Cabinet maker. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his Ellis friends and throwing darts. He was quiet by nature but was a loyal friend and cherished their friendships.

Larry honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1964 - 1968.

He is survived by his son, Scott Tomlin and Lynell Ramos; two brothers, Bruce and Robert Anderson; two granddaughters, Tori and Maddie Tomlin and a great granddaughter, Lacey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two step fathers, Thomas Pennock and Robert Anderson as well as one brother, Mike Anderson.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, February 27th, 2025 at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637.

Inurnment with Military Honors will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ellis
