Obituary



Larry R. Zerfas, age 76, of WaKeeney, passed away Nov 13, 2018 at Madisonville, Texas after a long battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Hays to Raymond and Flora Marie (Bowen) Zerfas. He graduated from Trego County High School in 1960. He married Jan Jacobs Jan. 28, 1961.

Survivors include a son, Brian Zerfas & companion Joann Fisher of Litchfield Park, Az., 2 daughters, Deb Jones and husband Tim of Tucson, Az. and Janet Bainter and companion Marlin Beougher, of Hoxie, Ks.; a sister, Connie Lynn and husband Vyrl of Cimarron, Ks.; 5 grandchildren Dylan, Brady, Tori, Katelyn, and Kaycie.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ellis United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ellis. Arrangements in care of Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67601
