Katherine Munsch

Katherine "Kay" Munsch, age 71, of Hays, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Hospice House of Reno County in Hutchinson, KS. She was born February 26, 1941 in Collyer, KS. to Fred and Catherine (Fisher) Brungardt.



She was a homemaker, a donut maker, and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays. She enjoyed her time with family.



She is survived by three daughters and their families, Kelly Munsch and Bill Donelson of Flower Mound, TX, Melissa Wolanin and husband Steven of Arlington, TX, and Lori Eason and husband Ronnie of McKinney, TX; three brothers, Larry Brungardt of Denver, Norbert Brungardt of Tulsa, OK., and Fred Brungardt Jr. of Olathe and three sisters, Mildred Giebler of Hays, Mary Lou Herrman of Great Bend and Norma Meier of Hays; Four grandchildren, Reid and Erik Wolanin of Arlington, TX and Cael and Thadd Eason of McKinney, TX.



She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Fredrick, Delbert, Jim and Ed Brungardt and three sisters, Georgia Karlin, Henrietta Karlin and Virginia Orth.



Memorial Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays. Private family inurnment will be held later at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in Antonino. There will be a rosary service at 9:30 A.M. Saturday at the church.
