Obituary



Kaitlyn Liana Cubillo, of Hays, Kansas passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born November 19, 2015 in Kansas City to Filiberto and Julie (Perez) Cubillo.

Kaitlyn was born with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) which is a severe congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is underdeveloped. Against the odds she fought with determination and a sassy attitude which she was quick to share with others. Her huge personality was a true treasure and gift for family and friends to be a part of.

She is survived by her parents, Fili and Julie Cubillo of Hays; grandparents, John Sr. and Olga Perez of Dodge City and Pedro and Rosa Cubillo of Hays as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her very much.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4 PM - 7 PM with a rosary service at 7 PM. Thursday visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time. Livestream of services available at www.keithleyfuneralchapels.com and select Facebook Live tab at the top of the page.
