John Kevin Landauer

John Kevin "Bo" Landauer, age 53, of Ellis, passed away Monday, Feb 2, 2015 at Logan County Hospital in Oakley, Kansas. He was born December 6, 1961 in Kansas City, Kansas to John and Wilma (Kleweno) Landauer. He graduated from Basehor High School. He married Katheryn Tomforde on June 27, 2002 in Kansas City, KS. Bo was currently working as a truck driver hauling grain. In the past he had worked for 25 years with the boilermakers, a mechanic for Lockheed and operated Bos Landing in Ellis and also Bos signs and designs which was a vinyl sign business. He enjoyed helping others, working cattle on his fathers farm, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, trap shooting and reloading and attending auctions. He is survived by his wife Katheryn of Ellis; his father, John Landauer of Ellis; a brother, Barry Landauer and wife Annette of Merriam, KS; a niece, Rachel Landauer and a nephew, Ryan Landauer. He was preceded in death by his mother, uncle, Gilbert Landauer and two aunts, Kathy and Darlene. Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Ellis with burial will following services in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 5 PM 8 PM at St. Marys Church in Ellis with a vigil/rosary service at 7 PM. Arrangements in care of Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637. Memorials are suggested to be used according to the wishes of the family.
