Jill Marie Dillon

Jill Marie (Hatfield) Dillon, 55, Hays, died Thursday, February 27, 2025. She was born October 23, 1969 in Hays, the daughter of Charles and Leona Hatfield. She was a graduate of Hays High School in the class of 1988. On September 15, 1990 she was united in marriage to Jerry A. Dillon in Hays, and they celebrated 34 years of marriage. 

Jill worked as a hair stylist for over 35 years working at the JCPenny Salon, Sip N Spin Salon, Impressions, and Studio 8. Jill cared for all of her clients dearly. Outside of work she enjoyed gardening, crafts, and cooking. Above all else she loved her family which made her an extraordinary wife and mother. She was very active in her children’s lives and never missed a school event. She enjoyed all of her pets, especially Max. Jill was kind, giving, and always made people around her feel special. 

Survivors include her husband Jerry Dillon of the home in Hays, two daughters; Kiara Dillon and fiancé Steven of Wichita and Jett Dillon and partner Mykaela of Portland, Oregon, her mother; Leona Hatfield of Hays, two sisters; Joy Vogel and husband Doug of Marion, Susan Dinges and husband Tom of Schoenchen, sister-in-law; Deb Hatfield of Hays, nieces Alexandria, Briana, Tashia, Tracy, Alisha, Amanda, nephews Matt and Cole, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; Charles Hatfield, and a brother; Glen Hatfield. 

Memorial services celebrating Jill's life will be Monday, March 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Keithley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Brock's Chapel, 2509 Vine Street Hays, Kansas 67601. 

A memorial visitation will be Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral chapel.
