Frank Schneller

Frank Joseph Schneller, age 102, formerly of Ellis passed away December 25, 2014 at The Atriums in Overland Park, KS. He was born May 7, 1912 in Ellis, KS to Leon and Mary (Erbert) Schneller. He married Margaret (Philipp) in Ellis, Kansas September 23, 1936.

Frank worked at Beech Aircraft as a machinist in tool and die for 38 years. He attended Joseph's Military Academy and received a degree in Chemistry. He was a former member of St. Marys Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by two sons, Lee Schneller and Dave Schneller; a sister, Katy Huber; 7 Grandchildren: Christina Pokorny, Michael Schneller, John Schneller, Steven Schneller, Annie Schneller, Joseph Schneller, and Linda Thorne and 17 Greatgrandchildren: David and Evan Pokorny, Audrey and Ella Thorne, Zack, Annie, Sophie, Michelle, Keyton, Jacob, Clara, Calvin, Jack, Jonathan, Josh, Ben and William Schneller



He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Don Schneller; a brother: Charles Schneller and a sister, Theresa Stromeyer.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Ellis. Burial will follow services in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637.

A parish vigil and rosary service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
