Frank Honas

Frank Honas, age 86 , of Ellis, passed away Tuesday, April 12th at the Ellis Good Samaritan Center. He was born on August 22, 1924 in Ellis County, Kansas to Edward and Agnes (Steckline) Honas. He was a graduate of Ellis High School.Frank was a farmer and stockman and he had also worked in the oilfields. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.He is survived by three brothers, Oscar Honas, Glen Honas and Arthur Honas all of Ellis and two sisters, Irene Dinkel of Victoria and Delores Schmeidler of Hays.Funeral services were held today at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ellis. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
