Faye Keller

Faye Jean Keller, age 63, of Ellis passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Trego Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney. She was born January 12, 1952 in Hays, Kansas to Wilbert and Fern (Zerfas) Keller. She graduated from Ellis High School in 1970 and earned a business degree from Brown-Mackie College. Faye had worked for several years for Travenol were she was a supervisor until the company relocated. She then started working for Wheelchairs of Kansas doing assembly work. She enjoyed gardening, building doll houses and fishing with her father and was an avid pet lover. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary both of Ellis. She is survived by her parents, Wilbert and Fern Keller of Ellis; a sister, Twila Large of Ellis; two brothers, Tim Keller and wife Aleta and Danny Keller all of Ellis; nieces, Christine Large of Phoenix, Heidi Fawcett and husband Matt of Phoenix, Meredith Windholz and husband Garett of Victoria, Rachel Keller of Ellis, Laycie Haas and husband Todd of Antonino, Emily Burd and husband Shaun of Ellis and Katelyn Keller of Dighton as well as 9 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday, January 16, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church in Ellis. Burial will follow in Mt Hope Cemetery in Ellis. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 8 pm and Friday from 10 - 10:30 am all at Christ Lutheran Church in Ellis.

A Prayer Service will be 7 pm Thursday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Ellis VFW Ladies Auxiliary or Christ Lutheran Church.
