Evelyine Hatfield

Evelyine Marie Hatfield, age 71, of Hays passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at her home. She was born Oct. 2, 1942 in Yocemento, KS to Gerhardt and Agnes (Brown) Rohr. She graduated from Girl's catholic High. She married Donald Hatfield in 1962. He preceded her in death in Dec. 1984.



She was a homemaker and worked as a furniture re upholsterer. She was a member of the Hays VFW Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts and puzzles.



She is survived by her mother, Agnes Rohr of Hays; a son, Joe Hatfield of Springdale, AR; two daughters, Kimberly Cain of Joplin, MO and Shirley Hatfield of Elk City, KS; two brothers, Gilbert Rohr of Walker, KS and LeRoy Rohr of LaCrosse, KS; a sister, Pauline Meis of Catharine, KS; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.



Her father, her husband and a brother, Julius Rohr, preceded her in death.



Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Catharine, KS. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Chanute, KS at a later date.



Visitation will be Sunday 4 PM - 8 PM with a Parish Vigil Service at 7:30 PM all at Brock's Funeral Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.
