Donna Rae Henning

Donna Rae Henning, age 55, of Russell, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 at the Russell Regional Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1956 in Chicago to Donald and Gertrude (Tichgelaar) VanderMeyden. She married Timothy Henning on October 9, 1985 in Stockton, KS.



She was a homemaker had worked for Frontline Cleaning Service. She was a supporter of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City.



She is survived by her husband Timothy of Russell; four sons, Jeremy VanHeel of Highland IN., Shane VanHeel of Hammond, IN., Joel and Daniel Henning both of Russell; two daughters, Laura Roberts of Philadelphia and Trisha McKee of Kansas City, MO; a brother, James VanderMeyden of Chicago; a sister, Cheryl Barabas of Lake Of The Hills, IL; nine grandchildren, Nevaeh, Adam and Wesley McKee, Cole and Olivia Roberts, Briana Henning, Violet, Iris and Lilah VanHeel.



She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dean VanderMeyden.



Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Brock's North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS. 67601. Burial will follow services at Ft. Hays Memorial Gardens Cemetery.



Visitation will be Tuesday starting at 12 PM until service time at the funeral home.



Memorials are suggested to the Donna Rae Henning Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date.
