Don Wolf

Donald James "Don" Wolf, age 62, of Hays, passed away Monday September 12th in rural Hays the result of an automobile accident. He was born on September 22, 1948 in Quinter, Kansas to Joseph and Anna (Ochs) Wolf and he graduated from Hays High School in 1966. He married Barb Fisher on November 23, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ellis. He was currently working at Hays Medical Center doing Electrical Maintenance and he previously had worked at Yuasa-Exide. He was a member of the Ellis Knights of Columbus and he enjoyed being outdoors.He is survived by his wife, Barb of Hays; a son, Jarrod (Gina) Wolf of Park City, KS; a daughter, Jami (Luke) Hespe of Valley Center, KS; three brothers, Richard J. (Colleen) Wolf of Larned, KS., William J. (Lana) Wolf of West Point, NEB. and Marvin C. Wolf of Gary, TX; two sisters, Esther M. (Harold) Whitlock of Gary, TX. and Patricia A. (George) Kasper of Potwin, KS; five grandchildren, Ciara and Brandon Hespe of Valley Center, Abbigail, Dominick and Wyatt Wolf of Park City; a father-in-law, Alvin Fisher of Ellis; three brothers-in-law, Eugene (Beth) Fisher, Ray (Joleen) Fisher all of Hays and Paul (Danita) Fisher of Ellis and three sisters-in-law, Mary Alice (Bernard) Wiesner of mountain Home, AR., Virginia (Tony) Erbert of McPherson and Colleen (Rodney) King of Ellis.He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Anna Mary Fisher.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hays. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ellis.Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Brock's North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS. 67601. There will be a rosary service at 6:30 Thursday followed by a parish vigil service at 7:00 P.M. all at the funeral home.Memorials are suggested to the Don Wolf Memorial Fund to be used according to the wishes of the family and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
