Dennis L. Lacock

Dennis L. Lacock – age 82, of Lawrence, Kansas passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. He was born January 17, 1942, at Randolph Field, Texas to Frank Lloyd and Agnes Hilda (Carlson) Lacock. He married Judy (Rome) on October 28, 1967, in Victoria, Kansas.

Dennis was a hydrologist with the U. S. Geological Survey for 37 years and retired in 2002. He grew up in St. Marys, Kansas, was a 1960 graduate of St. Marys High School, and was a graduate of Emporia State College. He was a veteran of the U S Army.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Michael Lacock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at The Basilica of Saint Fidelis, 900 Cathedral Ave., Victoria, Kansas with Celebrant, Father James Moster O.F.M. Cap.

Burial will be in the Saint Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas with Military Honors by the Victoria V.F.W. Post #1751. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, at the church with a family rosary at 10:45 A.M. 

The family suggests memorials made payable to: St. Fidelis Cemetery Fund or ELARA Caring Hospice Foundation in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary, 412 Main Street, Victoria, Kansas 676671.
