Obituary



Deanna Jo Tatman, age 68, of Ellis, Kansas passed away on Aug. 19, 2020 in Ellis. She was born March 2, 1952 in Hays, KS. to Opal and Joseph J. Tatman.

Deanna grew up in Hays and Plainville and later attended and graduated from Ellis High School in Ellis, Ks. In recent years she took online classes in Bachelor of Science and Criminal Justice through the Kaplan University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Over the years she worked in many different occupations.

She is survived by four brothers, Larry, Steve, Jody and Stevan, three sisters. Pat, Linda and Stephanie, several nieces and nephews and four grandsons, four great grandchildren, two step sisters and a step brother.

She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Danny and Kevin, three sisters, Rae Ann, Debbie and Juanitta, a son Timmy and two daughters Tanya and Corina.

Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ellis.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Spruce Villa to be used for the resident activities fund.
