David Florian

David Scott Florian, age 36, of Hays, passed away Tuesday, June 14th the result of a vehicle accident in Rush County. He was born on August 9, 1974 in Russell, Kansas to Jerry and Virginia (Stucky) Florian. He graduated in 1993 from Wilson High School. He married Karie Winkler on December 12, 1998 In Russell, KS. at the St. John Lutheran Church. He was a Rig Hand working for Stewart Well Service for the past 12 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and family camping trips. He also enjoyed competitive bow shooting. He was a member of the Wilson United Methodist Church and attended Cross Point Church of Hays.He is survived by his wife, Karie; a son, Andrew and a daughter Alexa all of Hays. His parents, Jerry and Virginia Florian of Wilson, and two brothers, Greg Florian and partner Stacia Siegel of Apache junction, AZ. and Brian Florian and wife Amanda of Wilson.Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at Cross Point Church of Hays 1300 Harvest Rd. Burial will be in Wilson, KS. at 2:30 P.M. Friday.The family will be present Thursday 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. to greet friends at Brock's North Hill Chapel 2509 Vine Hays, KS. 67601.Memorials are suggested to Cross Point Church Music Ministry or his Children's Education Fund.
