David Dreiling

Obituary



David Neal Dreiling, age 65, of Antonino, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at HaysMed. He was born on November 21, 1956 in Hays, Kansas to Anthony Francis and Lillian Marie (Sander) Dreiling. He graduated from TMP-Marian High and attended college. David married Jorgie Lochmann on July 30, 1980 in Hays.

David was a driller in the oilfields working for Discovery Drilling for 35 plus years. He was known to be a very patient person willing to put others ahead of himself. He enjoyed landscaping and was an avid gardener and was a member of Westview Church.

David is survived by his wife, Jorgie of Antonino; a daughter, Randi Dreiling (Darin Linenberger) of Hays; a brother, Russell Dreiling (Tammy) of Hays; two sisters, Anne Price (Charles) of Wichita and Laurie Fleenor (Lee) of Hays as well as a granddaughter, Laeci.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Rogers.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 22, 2022 at Westview Church 3000 W. 41st street in Hays with memorial visitation starting at 10:00 AM until service time. Inurnment will follow in the Fort Hays Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hays.

In Davids memory memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
