Obituary



David Eugene Keller, age 65, of Ellis, Kansas passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 in Ellis. Dave was born February, 19, 1956 in Lyons, Kansas to Troy and Norma (Hembree) Keller. He graduated from Ellis High School in 1974. On April 4, 1981 he married Tina Schmidt in Hays, Kansas.



Dave was a pumper and had worked in the oilfields most of his life. He enjoyed bowling and casino trips with Tina. He was an OU football fan and an avid Kansas City Chief fan.



Dave is survived by his wife, Tina Keller of Ellis; his daughter, Megan Keller of Denver, Colorado; his mother, Norma Keller of Ellis; a brother, Jack Keller and wife Barb of Ellis; two sisters, Linda Dunn of Hays and Judy Hagan and husband Greg of Ellis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his father.



A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
