Cynthia Ann Gustafson

Cynthia Ann (Cindy) Gustafson (72) of Hays passed away December 25, 2023.  She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randy, as well as sister-in-law Gayleen Schmitt of Chase, Ks.

Cindy was a beautiful, intelligent, and talented lady.  In her school years she was a national champion Deca participant.  She held many positions as she followed her husband and his career moves including furniture store manager, Director of Administrative Services for a regional health department, an insurance agent, and others.

She was very interested in crafts and developed an artistic talent that resulted in a number of paintings sold and given to people in Hays and elsewhere.  For the past twenty years she was a very prolific and well-regarded artist in many mediums until one day she told her husband she had forgotten how…....

There was cremation, there will be no service.
