Obituary



Connie Beth Walters, age 75, of Catharine, Kansas passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Hodgeman County Health Center in Jetmore, Kansas. Connie was born October 6, 1947 in Larned, Kansas to Elmer and Gertrude (Kahler) Nagel. On November 23, 1972 she married Patrick "Pat" Walters in LaCrosse, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 4, 2018.

Connie was a homemaker, social worker, para educator and caregiver for Pat and others. She enjoyed baking, sewing, playing cards and her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Catherines catholic Church and the St. Catherines Christian Mothers.

She is survived by three sons, Christopher Walters and Amy Pichetti of Wichita, Todd Walters and wife Michelle of Hanston and Mike Walters of Ness City as well as four grandchildren, Macie, Kaylee, Bryce and Lauryn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Nagel.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. Catherines Catholic Church in Catharine. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday 5:00 PM 8:00 PM at Brocks-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601. Tuesday visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time at the church.

A St. Catherines Christian Mothers rosary will be Monday at 6:30 PM followed by a parish vigil service.
