Clara Kramer

Clara Rose Kramer, age 93, of Hays passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at Hays Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1921 on a farmstead west of Hays to Joseph M. and Anna (Seitz) Kramer.

Clara was a farmer and had worked at the Brunswick Caf and Ft Hays Drug. She loved farm life and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and playing cards. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Altar Society.

She is survived by four nephews, Jim Kramer and wife Luanne, Bill Kramer and wife Stephanie and Rob Kramer all of Hays, Joseph Kramer of Wichita and a niece, Laura Garrett of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Clarence and Edward Kramer and three sisters, Regina, Marie and Eleanor Kramer.

Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday 5 pm 8 pm and Tuesday 9 am 9:30 am

A parish vigil service will be Monday at 7 pm followed by a daughters of Isabella rosary service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Church or TMP-Marian High School.
