Caiden Matthew West

Caiden Matthew West, age 16, of Hays, Kansas passed away March 12, 2023.

He was born September 30, 2006 in LaJunta, Colorado to Randy and Shauna (Snyder) West.

Caiden was an avid gamer and skateboarder with a kind compassionate heart. His friends meant a lot to him.

Survivors include his parents, Randy and Shauna of Hays, KS; one sister, Swaizea West, Hays; Uncles Tom Blankenbecker, North Carolina; Ron (Jenny) West, Iowa; Matthew (Neray) Garcia, California; aunts Jennifer (David) Hulett, Nebraska; Bridgette (Kevin) Brumley, Hoisington; grandparents Ortencia, and Samuel Garcia, Hays; grandparents Rose and Robert Swank, Ottawa, Kansas; cousins Dalton, Megan, Madison, River, McKenzie, Mariah, Sydney, Adalyn, Alexis, Arian, Alyanna, Anthony and Kahleesis, and his beloved cat, Peaches.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald Dean West, infant sister, Nevaeh Rose West, and a cousin, Alyssa Ann.

Services will be held Saturday, March 25, at 1:30 PM at­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Keithley Funeral Homes~Brock’s Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, Kansas.
