Obituary



Clinton Robert (Bobby) Minium, born June 19th, 1981, passed away Wednesday, July 4th, 2018, while in the loving care of Kristin, Rylie, and Bryson Fairbank. Bobby was proceeded in death by his father, Clinton Minium, and his loving grandparents Bob and Dixie McIlrath and Opal and Harry Minium.



Bobby is survived by his mother, Dixie McIlrath Minium, and by his sisters, Kenda Eloriaga and her husband, Elbert, of Denver, CO, and Kristin Fairbank of Hays, KS, and his niece and nephew Rylie and Bryson Fairbank. He is also survived by his Aunt And Uncle, Jan and Bandy Brownlee of Bristol, TN, and many cousins, friends, caregivers and his dog Zuri.

Bobby graduated from Felton Middle School and Hays High School. He had a Special Olympics team named after him, 'Team B. O. B. Breaking Our Barriers.' Bobby brought joy and laughter to those who cared for him. He had a great sense of humor and his legacy will be remembered as one who taught others how to advocate for those with special needs.

Please honor Bobby by "paying it forward." Bobbys long journey was always brightened whenever someone would randomly bless him. As a family, we would ask that friends honor Bobby by doing something kind for another person with no expectations for return or recognition for the good deed.

Although unable to walk while on earth, Bobby is now laughing, running, and jumping in Heaven. He will be greatly missed. A special thank-you goes to all the wonderful student helpers Bobby has had though the years that have become family.



Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine St., Hays, KS 67601. Burial will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at the Lebanon Cemetery in rural Kingman, KS.

Visitation will be 6 PM - 8 PM Friday, July 6, 2018 at the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
