They eventually added Great Plains Chrysler Plymouth & Dodge dealership to Camper & RV Center. Bernice was the heart and soul of all of their business.
She made sure things were done the right way!. Bernice received the award of "Business Woman of the Year" in 1980. One of Bernices favorite past times was polka dancing and following her husband throughout his musical career with "The Herrmanettes". She had many hobbies like, cooking, sewing, and traveling in their camper. Bernice and LeRoy enjoyed going to south Texas in the wintertime to stay warm. They spent many years going on weekend trips to the lake with family and friends. During her down time, she would like to go on "joy rides" in one of their many convertibles (typically to get ice cream). Mostly, Bernice was a very loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
