Obituary



Barbara Wolf, age 68, of Ellis, Ks passed away on Friday October 23, 2020 at home in Ellis. She was born November 6,1951 to Shorty and Edna Kuhn. She grew up in Ellis, Ks and graduated from Ellis High School in 1969 then attended Fort Hays State University. She married Brian Wolf August 5, 1970 in Ellis, Ks.

Barbara worked more than twenty-five years for Hays Internal Medicine Group as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.

Barbara loved her Grandchildren with all her heart and spent a lot of time attending sporting events, dance recitals, and taking them for fun filled adventures on weekends. She enjoyed making treats and attending school parties. Barbara had many hobbies, including reading, sewing for people, baking for weddings, birthdays, and many other occasions. Her passion was spending time with Brian raising Greyhounds. Her specialty spoiling the puppies.

She is survived by her husband, Brian of Ellis; Sons, Jeff (Tammy) of Ellis and Lee (Stephanne) of Chapman; sisters, Benita (Glen) Cox of Wichita and Judy (Ralph) White of Salina; grandchildren, LexAnne Wolf of Hays, Levi Wolf of Ellis, Morgan Wolf of Chapman, Taylor Scoggins of Abilene, Peyton Kitchens of Emporia, Spencer Crist of Coal City, Ill and Nia Carroll of Las Vegas, Nv; great granddaughters, Korbyn and Skylar Crist of Coal City, Ill; Great Grandsons, Mason Durant of Abilene; Landon, Maddox, and Jenson Carroll of Las Vegas Nv.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Keithley Funeral Chapel 400 E. 17th Ellis, KS 67637. Interment will be family only. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 PM 7 PM at the funeral chapel. Wearing masks will be required at the visitation and funeral service.
