Obituary
Anthony "Tony" LeSage age 83, of Bunker Hill, Kansas, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the Wheatland Nursing Home in Russell, Kansas.
He was born June 9, 1937, in Pawnee County, Kansas, the eldest of four boys born to Joseph Anthony Hilary "Larry" LeSage and Mary Josephine (Jennings).
Tony married the love of his life Karlene Kay Eichman on September 27, 1956, in Russell, Kansas. Together they raised four children namely Lex Allen LeSage; Melanie Lynn Bailey; Natali Anne LeSage; and Audrey Kay Berry; the family was blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren; survivors also include two brothers, Roy "Buzzy" LeSage and Randy LeSage.
Tony enlisted into the Air Force directly after graduating high school. In the Air Force he received his training as an Air Traffic Controller. His career with the FAA took his family to New Mexico, California and Colorado. He finished his career at Wichita, Kansas and moved back to Russell County, settling in Bunker Hill. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed big game hunting.
Tony was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Karlene Kay (Eichman); his parents; and one brother, Terrance "Terry" LeSage.
A private family service and inurnment will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Bunker Hill Museum in care of the mortuary.
