Obituary



Alexis Diane Garcia, age 24, of Plainville, Kansas passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 in Plainville. She was born January 14, 1994 in Hays, Kansas to Christie Jo Overton and Robert Arnold. She attended Hoxie Community Schools, K-State and FHSU.

Alexis was a Norton Correctional Facility Stockton Unit Officer Officer for the State of Kansas Department of Corrections. She enjoyed the majority of her time being a loving, devoted Mom. She loved riding horses and spending time with family and friends. Lexi was a talented and creative woman, always coming up with new ideas for projects.

She is survived by her daughter Sofia Garcia, parents Christie & Anthony McLain of El Dorado, Billy and Chantel Arnold of Hays and Andy and Chanda Munk of Menlo, brothers Jacob Munk and Nick Munk of Menlo, Konner Buxton of Hays, sisters Gracie Munk of Menlo, Emily Miller and husband Tyler of Warrensburg MO, Harley Arnold of Emporia and Kelli Arnold of Hays.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Hoxie, Kansas. Private family inurnment at a later date will be in the St. Martin Cemetery in Seguin, Kansas.

Visitation will be Friday 7 PM 9 PM at the church.
